Watchdog - Value for Money
7.30pm BBC 1 "When it comes to buying a bra, most women are fumbling about in the dark," says Vanessa Feltz displaying her ample proportions squeezed into an ill-fitting undergarment. And she is not alone. Apparently 70 per cent of British women are wearing the wrong sized bra so Feltz and co go into the high street to take to task those shops who are "making big bucks out of our boobs". The resultant film is simultaneously amusing and depressing. It seems your best bet is to get your bras specially made by the Queen's own, disarmingly frank, corsetiere.
This is the style of the consumer tests featured in this series which assesses the quality and value for money of items as diverse as haircuts, take-away pizzas and disposable cameras.
Vanessa Feltz reveals even more to Clement Freud next week in RT.
Kathy has a night out with Pat, while Phil spends an evening with the boys. David's quick thinking saves Joe's date with Sarah, and Robbie's pizza deliveries attract unwanted attention.
