Heart of the Matter returns with a specially extended programme marking the start of the new series. In 1978, at the height of Argentina's repression, a baby girl was adopted in Buenos Aires. Eleven years later evidence has come to light that she is the child of parents who were abducted by the military and disappeared. Today her true grandparents and her adoptive parents are locked in a conflict about her custody - a conflict that reflects not only personal tragedy, but the struggle of a country haunted by its brutal past.
