A Day to Day special
As the I Government steps up the fight against AIDS, a special debate, chaired by Robert Kilroy-Silk , asks whether enough is being done to combat the spread of the disease. What are the moral issues, how effective is the Government's advertising campaign, and what more needs to be done? A nationwide poll commissioned by the BBC has sounded out public opinion. In the Day to Day studio doctors, politicians and those with personal experience of AIDS debate its findings; and from the Open Air phone-room in Manchester, Pattie Coldwell puts your concerns to the experts.
