In the Panamanian jungle and the deserts of Arizona, the armies of the ants are on the march - raiding and pillaging the insect communities which live in their domain.
The army ants of the rainforests are nomadic fillers, sweeping in gigantic numbers over the jungle floor, running down and tearing to pieces their unfortunate victims.
But the Amazon ants of North America are slave raiders, plundering the nests of other ants. Eggs and larvae are carried off to the Amazon colonies where they are raised as slaves, feeding and caring for their masters.

Miles Cullen is the respectable but dull head of a Toronto bank.
Harry Reikle is a psychopathic crook who plans to rob the bank dressed as Santa Claus.
