The third in a series of four programmes
The Isles of Scilly
They lie 27 miles south west of Land's End, free from frost, famed for their flower industry, their subtropical gardens bathed in colour all year round. Little wonder then that the Isles of Scilly, as Andrew Cooper discovers in this film, became known as 'The Fortunate Islands', set in the dramatic isolation of the Atlantic, home to wandering seabirds and a birthplace for the grey seal.

Cliff Michelmore hears of the Council's search for unity and renewal in the Church and its commitment to justice and service in the world; and the members of the staff and their families sing their songs of praise in the chapel. Assistant producer
