At the end of World War II, Brynie MacKay and Mike Brewer begin operating an air cargo service based in Oran. Business is bad until Brynie agrees to transport a large cargo - ostensibly of Egyptian cotton - for a notorious international racketeer, Lee Har ris. En route, however, Brynie learns that with the cotton he is also carrying$100,000 of contraband cigarettes....
