An Omnibus film about the Royal Academy

The most popular art exhibition in Britain - The Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy opened yesterday. Anyone in the country can send pictures to its annual show and if they are selected they may hang beside a Lowry or a Bratby; sculptures could stand among Frinks and Kneales. The Royal Academy has been attacked since it was founded. Its art school has been criticised as traditionalist and dull. So why is it there, and who pays for it?
