Made in 1935 and possibly the Marx Brothers' most famous film, the plot of A Night at the Opera has something to do with a certain Otis B. Driftwood's plans to launch a Mrs Claypool as a patron of Grand Opera - but it is only an excuse for excursions into inspired lunacy, and some of the funniest scenes ever filmed.
