Alan Whicker is concerned by The Stresses of Divorce

Why do people in the public eye so often break up their marriages? Do the present divorce laws add unnecessary cruelty to broken relationships? If people have the right to part, to consider only their own happiness. then what of those left behind alone?
Some characters on a matrimonial marry-go-round reveal the effect of divorce on their lives. Elizabeth Jane Howard, novelist, Sandra Paul, model-girl, Romaine Wynne-Morgan, public relations executive, Peter Scott, naturalist and broadcaster, David Wynne-Morgan, public relations executive, Robin Douglas-Home writer and pianist.
