Animals in the wild, animals in the zoo, animals near your home: a magazine illustrating their own kind of magic.
From the West
Arctic birds, 'tame' badgers, a bison, a porcupine, a chinchilla, and a sheepdog which will round-up almost anything-even ducks-are among the creatures you can meet in Animal Magic today. Wild badgers are shy creatures, but John Whall, who lives at Newtown Linford in Leicestershire, has succeeded in attracting them from their sett to feed. They are now so accustomed to doing this that they have no objection to being watched by strangers while they eat-not even by Johnny Morris, who has always wanted a chance to meet badgers at close quarters, and eagerly accepted an invitation to Newtown Linford.
