Werner Pelz speaks about the Austrian author Robert Musil and in particular about his novel The Man Without Qualities
Mr. Pelz compares the Anglo-French tradition of writing, where man is measured against society, the possible and the obvious, with the Russian-German one, to which Musil belongs, where man is measured against the impossible and the elusive.
