The British Trade Fair in Moscow, the largest ever held there, has been promoted not by the-British Government but by British industry. Mr. Berger, who is closely concerned with the problems of East-West trade, contrasts the enterprise shown by British businessmen in developing this trade with the apparent lack of official British enthusiasm for it, and calls for a new government attitude towards the markets for British exports in the Soviet bloc which could be ours for the taking.
