A consideration ot episcopacy and its functions by the Rt. Rev. J. A. T. Robinson
Bishop of Woolwich and the Rev. John Huxtable
Principal of New College, London
The speakers are an Anglican bishop and a Congregationalist theologian.
Episcopacy in some form is a universal characteristic of the Christian Church; but is it essentially related to ' the office of a bishop ' and, if so, what 's the ground and character of the bishop's authority? These questions arise in any discussion of the basis for reunion; and so far they have proved intractably stubborn in this country.

Ubu Roi, often called the first Surrealist play, was produced in Paris in 1896, when it gave rise to a controversy that has continued ever since. Listeners to the Art -Anti-Art series will have noticed that this work, according to Sacha Guitry one of the most original and powerful burlesques of all time,' provided a point of reference for many of the speakers.
Alfred Jarry (1873-1907) intended to confront the audience with the appalling-but diverting-sight of its ignoble other self, and employed technical means that have only gradually been assimilated into the modem theatre.
