Last year a colloquium of Western jurists, attended by legal representatives of some thirty states of Europe and America, was held in Chicago to discuss Western conceptions of law. It was designed as the first of three meetings. The second will take place next September in Warsaw to discuss the ' Socialist Conception of Law.' Professor Hamson was one of the British representatives at the colloquium.
