Lord Kinross has recently returned from a visit to French North Africa, and in this, the first of two talks, he speaks about Morocco, the 'far west ' of the Arab world. This was the last of the three North African territories to come under French control, and the speaker considers its present problems in relation to the conflict between French and Arab aspirations.
