Professor of Theoretical Physics in the University of Manchester
According to Professor Rosenfeld, when the development of science achieves some new synthesis it brings the scientific point of view of the world nearer to life. In this talk he shows how much more realistic are the conceptions of, quantum theory compared with those of classical physics.

Sandor Veress , who was born in 1907 in Transylvania, and studied with Bartok and Kodaly, is now living in Switzerland. The second of his two string quartets, completed in Budapest in 1937, was heard for the first time in this country at the London Contemporary Music Centre before the war.
