In this series the authors go back to places that had a particular formative or sentimental value for them in the past. Rayner Heppenstaii studied at the University of Strasbourg in 1931 and was there again in 1936. He returned in June this year for the Music Festival and the tercentenary celebrations of the union of Alsace with France by the Treaty of Westphalia with Anthony Jacobs
