This year marks the nineteenth consecutive summer season of the Weston Municipal Orchestra: although this is the official title, the Orchestra is perhaps better known locally as ' Burgess's Band '. It performs three times daily during the summer months, and in the winter plays at the Winter Gardens Pavilion, where entertainments vary from symphony concerts to ' Cafe Continental ' performances.
Although changes in the personnel are inevitable, no fewer than five of the original members are still in the orchestra.
