Eileen Vaughan gave her first broadcast in a concert of Eisteddfod prize-winners in 1927. She has had a varied career, having appeared in opera, drama, revue, and pantomime in all parts of the country. Her time is now occupied chiefly by concert and dinner engagements in the West of England. This season she played Ophelia in the Bristol Drama Club's production of Hamlet, and the leading part of Kathie in the Bristol Operatic Society's production of The Student Prince.
