CHARNWOOD FOREST is a romantic district j near Leicester, dotted with picturesque ' villages and surrounded by rugged hills. Part of the Forest is Bradgate Park, which was at ! one time the home of the ill-fated Lady Jane Grey. Among many great names associated ! with the district are Sir Walter Scott and Wordsworth.
