Here is a new and entertaining series to be given by Ian Stewart , who is pianist with Carroll Gib bons and has broadcast with him in America as well as regularly over here. He will play various numbers at the piano and give a little talk about each, saying something about its history and that of the man who wrote it.

This is the first Association football broadcast of the season, and interest is increased by the possibility that from the teams playing today the Football Association will choose the teams to represent England in subsequent internationals, among them England v. Wales, to be broadcast on November 17, and England v. Czechoslovakia, to be broadcast on December 1.
Ivan Sharpe , who gives today's commentary, was one of the commentators in the last Cup Final.
