An enquiry into local authority housing and its allocation by David Dimbleby
Who pays for council housing? How are waiting lists made up, and who is chosen from them? Are there too many rich council tenants? And too many poor not housed by their local authority? Should council housing be sold to owner occupiers? Do local authorities build the type of housing to meet today's needs? Is it more economic to renovate old properties or knock them down and build modern council housing at higher rents?

A L. Lloyd was the first British folklorist since the war to record folk music in Albania. In the autumn of 1965 he made a prolonged tour. visiting several of the places that Edward Lear saw in 1848, and recording the heroic ballads of the northern mountain tribes as well as the polyphonic folk songs of the towns and the southern countryside.
