The Phiftene Glee Singers
Conducted by Clifford Eatwell
About two years ago some of the men employed in No. 15 Shop of the Carriage and Wagon Works of the G.W.R. at Swindon, decided to form a small Choir known as 15 Shop Choir. Later, when some of the original members left, other members were elected who were employed near, but not actually in 15 Shop, so that it was decided to change the name of the Choir to the Phiftene Glee Singers.
