(From Bristol)

One of the most important pieces of news about County Cricket is the acquisition by the Gloucestershire Club of the cricket ground at Ashley Down, Bristol. For many years this has been a headquarters for all sorts of sport, and since the War has been used by a great Bristol firm. Now the County Club has taken steps to acquire it. Leigh Woods will have much to say about this ground, linked up as it is with such a mighty name as that of W. G. Grace.
