Songs and Imitations by Ronald Gourley. A Cake for Grumble Groan ' (Christine Chaundler). Positive Percy and the Morse Message,' written and told by E. Le Breton Martin
THE names appearing in this programme are very familiar to all Children's Hour listeners. Ronald Gourley has always something new, but he has always room for old favourites as well, and in both types of item he is invariably popular. Probably no tune has ever ' caught on ' more swiftly and more thoroughly than his ' Dicky Bird Hop,' but his variations on Susie ' and his imitations of a musical box, a worn gramophone, and a barrelorgnn run the songster on the sycamore tree very close. Gather round, then, for another group of items by ' Uncle Ronald,' and you will also be fortunate enough to hear stories specially written for you by two authors whose popularity in the Children's Hour continues unabated.

HENLEY and Wimbledon, Ascot and Good-wood, Oxford and Cambridge and Eton and Harrow-all the sporting events of the London Season are over ; but before it departs to Scotland to deal destruction amongst the grouse, Society pays a flying visit to the Isle of Wight to witness one of the most picturesque meetings of the year. Blue water and white sails-noole yachts racing under clouds of snowy canvas—racing for the most coveted trophies that the yachtsmar can win, save always for the elusive America Cup-these make up the charm of Cowes Regatta. Not all yachtsmen can go to Cowes, but they will all be keen to hear the account of to-day's rating that Mr. Scott-Hughes will give.

FOR several years now the Duke of York's camps have brought together each summer a selection of boys from the best-known public schools and from the working classes of London, who have lived together under canvas and perhaps got to know more about each other's ways of thinking and feeling than they would ever do when they grew up. It is from the year's camp at New Romney that some spirited singing will be relayed tonight.
