Bill and Bess Elliott have left for the Bahamas. Mrs. Bradley's resistance to Peter Maunder has broken down and she has agreed to marry him, but she has stipulated that their engagement must be unofficial until Fiona has been told. Jago has been asked to paint another shareholders' report cover and this time he has asked Gunnel to pose.
