Mrs. Marsham phoned Richard to tell him Jean Tremayne had died. Sally and Richard went to Southampton and said goodbye to Annette before she went off to live with her relations. Briggs and Marchbanks having left, Mrs. Mount-ford wanted to live in the nursing home, but no room was available. In desperation Mrs. Dale offered to put her up until she could find someone to live with her. Mrs. Gudgeon volunteered to do so on an au pair' basis.

of Our Day and Age
16—'Always Another Door' with Pamela Russell and James McKechnie
Flight Lieutenant Michael Cross became an R.A.F. pilot in 1943. The war over he signed on for a further term of service. An accident during that service seemed to have ended his flying career. But he fought back. He learned to fly again, helped to a great degree by a girl he met in hospital who was also handicapped by severe physical disabilities and who became his wife.
