In which Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Jonquil Antony
Productions by Betty Davies and Wyn Knowles
Maud French decided to buy the Fieldings' house and turn it into flats. Maggs took on Briggs to help him with his work. Mrs. Mountford planned to close her house and sack Marchbanks. She asked Henry and Joyce to live with her, but they refused. Richard returned to England with Jean Tremayne and Annette. At sea, Jean fell dangerously ill, and on landing was rushed to hospital for an immediate operation. Jean's cousin, Mrs. Marsham, took care of Annette.
Other parts played by Judith Fellowes. Joe Sterne and members of the BBC Drama Repertory Company
