Henry told the Dales that he and Joyce were having a baby in September. Mrs. Freeman went to the Airport to see Sally off to Italy. Sally was pleased, though she had said she did not want any of the family to come. Dr. Fenimore came to see Dr. Dale with some disturbing news. Mrs. Freeman called to see Mrs. Sandiman and during her visit Mrs. Sandiman's niece, Vicky Clare, had a severe fall down the stairs.
