Miss Ainley produced a bill for £27 for redecorating her bathroom after David had let the bath overflow; David disputed the amount. He and Gwen decided to share the Scandinavian nurse with the Currans. Monument's dog, Digger, had a fight with Mrs. Dale's new dog, Mr. Ferne. Monument was told not to bring him again, lost his temper and walked out. Jenny and Bob decided to announce their engagement in the papers.
