In which Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Hazel Adair and Mrs. Freeman received a cheque for £ 250 from the Insurance Company for the recovery of the stolen goods, and she was able to repay Sally the money they had lost on the scarves. Isabel Fielding gave the names of Dr. Dale and Mr. Humphries as references in connection with her application for a foster-child; the Vicar had reservations about the idea which he discussed with the Doctor. The shop next door to ' Sarah' was finally bought by Mr. Odgers for a washerette. business. It was impossible to get the Chinese cabinet up the stairs to Bob's garage room, so it had to be left temporarily in the garage much to Dr. Dale's annoyance. Mrs. Owen was recovering slowly and making plans for Jenny to return to London in time for her rehearsals. Despite the plans for modernising the Parkwood Lodge cottages, Monument was quite definite about moving to Essex.
