Prue later ran into Maud French, who tried unsuccessfully to cajole her into working for her again. Isabel learned, by chance, that her husband was going to Sweden on a business trip, and was very hunt that he did not want her to accompany him. Gwen was in a quandary as to whether they could afford to go with friends to a local Charity Ball, but David, who told Dr. Dale that the was expecting a rise in the near future, said they should not turn it down immediately. Billy came home from hospital and Edward Fielding gave him a large, expensive toy.
