Appeal on behalf of the British Wireless for the Blind Fund by FREDDY GRISEWOOD, O.B.E.
Contributions, preferably by crossed postal order or cheque. will be gratefully acknowledged and should he addressed to [address removed].
Each year more than 5,000 blind people depend for their wireless sets on the response of this Christmas Day broadcast appeal-the only appeal the British Wireless for the Blind Fund makes to the public. In addition to sets for the newly blinded, replacements are needed for many hundreds of sets which after years of daily use are finally worn out. Each new set costs fin. The Fund must therefore raise £50.000 annually to provide this comfort and companionship where it is needed.
