This appeal is sponsored by the Conference of British 'Missionary Societies, which represents many denominations, and is for funds to support medical mission work in Asia and the Pacific, the Near East and North Africa, the West Indies and South America.
Miss Martin is on leave from
Papua where she has served in bush hospitals and clinics along the coastline for nearly twenty years. In many of these she has been without the aid of a resident doctor and in recent years has relied extensively on radio contact.
