by PETER DUVAL SMITH
In a previous talk on life in Ethiopia Peter Duval Smith dealt with the daytime bustle and eccentricities of the capital, Addis Abaa. Now he takes a look at the city after dark-at Mama's Place, one of the many unwesternised bars lurking in the back streets. Here native girls with terrifying tattoos help one with the twist and students scrounge free English lessons-the bustle and eccentricities are redoubled.
