Appeal on behalf of Moor House School by Greta Gynt
Contributions will be gratefully acknowledged and should be addressed to Miss Greta Gynt. [address removed]
Opened in 1947, Moor House is both school and treatment centre for children of normal intelligence who are handicapped by severe speech disorders resulting from illness, accident, and other causes. But for the treatment received at the school, these children could never assume the full responsibility of citizenship nor compete on equal terms in industry.
Many former pupils have achieved considerable success in their chosen vocations. To increase the number who can be accommodated a new building is being erected. The overall cost will exceed £ 26,000, of which £ 5,000 is still needed.

SPECIAL MISSIONS'
From the book by Otto Skorzeny
Dramatised for broadcasting by Gale Pedrick
Occasionally from among all the grim communiques of war, emerges an isolated tale of impudence, daring, and courage, which enlivens for a moment the whole tragic business. From Allied sources many such stories have already been told. This is a story from the other side,' which tells how Otto
Skorzeny, Austrian soldier of fortune, and his band of picked commandos attempt the rescue of Mussolini from a mountain fortress in which he is held prisoner by the Italians.
