Margaret Shaw 's home is on one of the smallest still inhabited in the Hebrides, and in this talk she describes the pattern of life of its inhabitants. ' The great blessing of this island,' she says, ' is peace. We rarely hear the sound of a plane, and the only traffic to fear on the road is the slow tractor. We are not governed by time.'
