Secretary for Overseas Education
Miss Douglas has recently returned from a three months' tour of various Church Missionary Society centres in Nigeria, the Gold Coast, and Sierra Leone. During this visit she discussed with Church and Government officials the contribution the Church Missionary Society can make to the development of educational work in these territories. Before her appointment as Secretary for Overseas Education, Miss Douglas spent nearly twenty years as a missionary in Uganda, principally on educational work.
