A new serial play in six parts written for Children's Hour by Noel Streatfeild
2—' Barker'
Production by Josephine Plummer
It is Saturday morning, and Ginnie and Angus and Esau are out shopping. They are supposed to be buying the things on the list Cathy gave them, but they are probably doing some window-shopping as well, because it will soon be her birthday. Jane is upstairs helping Mrs. Gage, and Paul is playing football. Alex, as usual of course on Saturday morning, is in his study writing his sermon.
None of the Bell family has seen the Admiral, but the only one who seems to regret this is Ginnie, who takes the most extraordinary interest in him.....

3-New Ways
' The attempt to use the novel as a means of making new discoveries generally involves new ways of storytelling. This deepens the impression that there are two kinds of novelists-the experimental writer and the ordinary entertainer.
