Peter Scott , who is the founder and director of the Severn Wildfowl Trust, has been making experiments in catching geese by means of rocket-propelled nets. Recently he was successful in catching four hundred rare geese in Scotland during the course of a few weeks. This afternoon he describes his methods.

In the last of his three broadcasts on the new science of radio astronomy Dr. Lovell, of the Jodrell Bank Experimental Station, talks about the techniques in which radio waves are transmitted into space and the information they give about meteors and other heavenly bodies. He refers to the future of radio astronomy and the use of giant radio telescopes.
