Talk by Gerald Lawrence Like so many actors who have won fame, Gerald Lawrence began his stage career with F. R. Benson 's celebrated Shakespearian company. He made his first appearance in 1894 at Stratford-on-Avon in Coriolanus. Older playgoers will remember him in many notable plays in the West Bod, particularly under the management of Beerbohm Tree at what was then Her Majesty's Theatre. Lawrence was also for a long time with Sir Henry Irving. Those who heard his reminiscences of Irving broadcast last October will look forward to hearing this further talk.
