Special Christmas number of this series, in which members of H.M. Forces present gramophone records which they have chosen themselves : Able-Bodied Seaman Johnson , M. ; Signalman Jackson, J. C. ; Leading Aircraftman Wass, J.
Tonight, not one, but three members of H.M. Forces-representing the three Branches of the Services-take part in this new gramophone series. There is a seasonal touch about the records they have chosen, and the whole programme looks like being very pleasant entertainment for Boxing Night.
Athene Seyler (and, of course, Bassett) hope you will join them in a little Boxing Night ' do ', to meet Bettie Bucknelle , John Carol , Kitty de Legh , Jack Melford , Hugh Morton , and Cynthia Teall. Phillip Leaver and James Dyrenforth have prepared the speeches, and Kenneth Leslie-Smith has supplied the music, played by the BBC Variety Orchestra, conducted by Charles Shadwell. The whole thing will be kept within bounds by Reginald Smith
