The Lone Ranger and Tonto see a coach hold-up. They find sacks full of earth. They discover that a watchmaker and engraver is tunnelling under his shop to the bank in order to exchange counterfeit notes. The watchmaker tries to put the blame on to someone else but it is too late-the Lone Ranger and Tonto are there.
