Lem and Jody want to join the Circus, but what can they do to be of value to Big Tim? Jody steals a lion cub with which he plans to make a really good act. But Princess, the cub's mother, doesn't take to the idea at all and breaks out of her cage. She follows Jody to his home and traps him there. At this point Lem shows that he is really the most skilled performer of them all.

Life in the United States from 1900 to 1914

For the American people the years 1900-1914 were the last decade of innocence. It was a time when the final union of the forty-eight states was formed, when the outside world was of no real concern to the American people, and the United States of no real concern to the outside world; when everyday life centred on the family picnics, the new ice-cream parlours, and the Sunday afternoon band concert. This film in the NBC documentary series 'Project 20' tells the story of the last untroubled period in American history.
