Ulanova in "Romeo and Juliet"
A ballet version of Shakespeare's tragedy
With English commentary

Shakespeare's immortal story of the two lovers of Verona forms the basis of the ballet by Lavrovsky which has won wide fame through Sergei Prokofiev's music. Filmed in Russia with one of the world's greatest ballerinas and the celebrated Bolshoi Theatre Ballet, this version expands and translates the theatre production into terms of the cinema.
