Laurens van der Post, in a series of six programmes, tells of an expedition into the Kalahari Desert which he has recently made with the collaboration of the BBC.
He undertook the journey to fulfil a vow, made in his childhood, to seek out the remnants of the first men of Africa-the Bushmen-who were reputed still to be living a Stone Age existence.
