In the living-room, with an open fire and electrical fittings, there is always the possibility of accidents, especially burns. W. P. Matthew gives advice on the maintenance of electrical equipment, and a doctor of the British Red Cross Society, with the assistance of a member of the Casualties Union, shows first-aid treatment for burns.
