The planet Jupiter is brought direct to your screens by means of a television camera that has been attached to the Yapp telescope at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich.
The planet is described by F. J Hargreaves, Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, who made possible the successful televising of the moon in 1949 and 1952.
