Philip Harben brings from Italy: Pasta
Pasta (which means literally 'paste') is the staple food of people all over Italy. Under the generic name of maccheroni are many and various forms ranging from tubes to the finest threads. All these can be bought in dried form ready made, but the most delicious of all is that which is freshly made at home, and that is what I am going to show, together with a suitable tomato sauce.
