A serial in six parts by Michael Pertwee.
[Starring] Anne Crawford and John Bentley

Richard Williams, an ex-RAF officer, having inserted an advertisement in the Personal Column of a daily newspaper, that he will go anywhere and do anything, receives only one reply.
This comes from Stacey, a doubtful character, who interviews him and offers him £250 to travel by air to Dublin on a false passport taking with him a suitcase, Richard accepts. Among his fellow travellers to Dublin is Diana Wilson, a newspaper reporter. The plane takes off but immediately lands again because of engine trouble.
The second time it attempts to take off, Richard having decided not to travel on it - the tail is blown off. Richard sees the crash. Later in a nearby bar he hears that all the passengers in the plane were saved - with the exception of himself.
